As a gallery intern we created promotional material for artists shows. For the show Rapturous Decay we were given pictures of Liz Miller's latest installations and told to create designs based off her work. I was inspired by her use of material to create beautiful works of art that I wanted to replicate it with the postcard. I started by printing out a postcard with the title masked by an image of her latest show. I then proceeded to rip up the postcard, scan it and fill in the negative space with the continued image. I then vectorized the rips to create the graphic that would be utilized throughout the remaining promotional material for the show.
